"The ideal player for almost any gig, Phil (Shotton) was superb when he performed with James Morrison's Trio at the 2018 Wigan Jazz Festival. His classic tone, and swinging style met with the instant approval of the large audience, generating an exciting two-set gig of absolute quality. Phil's excellent delivery coupled with his ability to 'entertain' means he will always attract a good audience; essential for the continuity and development of this great music."
